Center for the Built Environment

These Pictures were taken at the BCA Design and Trade Show at the Memorial Coliseum on March 7th and 8th of 2007. The Center for the Built Environment collaborated with the Building Contractors Association and the Northeast Indiana Green Build Coalition to provide two days of sustainable construction seminars. Attendees were field professionals and came from all over the state to participate in the event. In addition to our students' presentations, Associate Professor Matthew Kubik gave a seminar entitled "Green Interiors for Commericial and Residential Builders." Two of our IPFW Adjunct Professors: Jonathan Moss and Tom Werling, also gave seminars--one focused on green job costing and the other focused on green construction recycling.
The Center for the Built Environment collaborated with the BCA, the Northeast Indiana Green Build coalition and IPFW continuing Education to bring this professional workshop to Fort Wayne. Attendees came from all over the country and we were filled to capacity at the NIIC!
