Center for Industrial Innovation and Design

The Center for Industrian Innovation and Design (CIID) provides help to local businesses who have industrial or design problems and gives IPFW students real world experiences in which to test the theories they have learned in classrooms. CIID is a cross-disciplinary collaboration between the Schools of Engineering, Technology and Computer Science (ETCS) and Visual and Performing Arts, and the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC). It provides assistance from a variety of academic resources in such product development areas as three-dimensional modeling, CAD, rapid prototyping, fabrication and testing, real-time rendering, package and web design.

The Rapid Prototype Machine is being setup to create a build. Below are samples of previous builds created using this machine.
