Center for Industrial Innovation and Design

 

The CIID has completed 20 projects during its first school year of operation and it plans on handling at least that many each year going forward. The center helps area businesses with industrial or design problems and gives IPFW students real-world experiences with which they can apply the theories they have learned in classrooms. Some clients have come from the Innovation Center, which has helped an entrepreneur refine the business plan behind the project.
