QUALIFYING TOURNAMENTS: REGISTRATION APPLICATION

. Indiana FLL Qualifying Tournament Registration Application:
THE 2012 PROCEDURES will be posted at a later date. The procedures listed below are from last year.

  • Only PAID OFFICIAL FLL Teams can apply to attend one Indiana Qualifying Tournament.
  • All Indiana FLL Qualifying Tournament Registration Applications are done through this website www.etcs.ipfw.edu/fll
  • Tournament Application Dates:
    • October 17, 2011 opens at 8:00 AM (EDT)
    • October 21, 2011 closes at 5:00 PM (EDT)
  • Application Access: Use your team’s FLL number as both login and password to submit a tournament application. Coaches receive an FLL number when registering teams with FLL.
    • The USERNAME & PASSWORD ARE THE SAME: YOUR UNIQUE FLL TEAM NUMBER. Do NOT use the password you use on the FLL registration page.
    • View an example of how to login.
  • Application Information Needed: team name, FLL number, team member names (max. 10), number of males/females, school/group association, city, state, zip, coach name, address, day phone, alternate phone, email address, OPTIONAL secondary contact information
  • NEW! READ! Application versus automatic registration: This year, coaches will submit a tournament application. “First come, first serve” is a major factor (all applications are date/time stamped). Tournaments that receive their maximum number of applications will no longer be a selectable option as a “priority tournament”. Having an application accepted gives a team first consideration; however, it DOES NOT guarantee a team’s entrance into their priority tournament. Due to a record increase in teams and limited tournament capacity in certain locations, tournament confirmations will be sent after application week. Every attempt will be made to accept a team’s priority tournament but the State Committee reserves the right to confirm teams at an alternate tournament choice if absolutely necessary.
  • PRIORITY TOURNAMENT:  Coaches will submit their application form to a qualifying tournament considered their Priority Tournament. The application form will provide a list of all Indiana qualifying tournaments available from which a coach may choose.  When a tournament has received its maximum number of applications, it can no longer be selected as an available option. Coaches must then choose a priority tournament from the remaining selectable tournaments in the list. This step is critical as your application will be submitted to the Priority Tournament you choose.
  • CHOOSE 2 ALTERNATE TOURNAMENTS: Coaches will also be asked to select two Alternate Tournaments from the list of all Indiana tournaments and designate them as Alternate Tournament #1 or #2. You will be able to indicate whether Alternate Tournament #1 would have been your priority tournament if it had been available. Alternate tournaments will only be used if necessary to ensure all teams within a tournament location can be accommodated.
  • Application Submission: Your team’s FLL number will be removed from the website after you submit your online form preventing you from re-entering the application process for that team.
  • Printable Application: Print and hold the copy of your team’s application that appears after online application submission. If necessary, make any team corrections to the printed form.
  • Tournament Confirmation: Coaches will receive a confirmation of acceptance into a tournament AFTER registration/application week. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT A TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR TO SEEK CONFIRMATION. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION!
  • Payment: After confirmation, submit the printed application form with payment.
