Masters Degree in Technology
Degree Requirements
The Master of Science in Technology program requires the completion of a minimum of 33 credit hours. There are four classifications of courses in the program:
Group 1: Technology Core (3 courses – 9 credits)
Group 2: Technology Specialization (4 courses - 12 credits)
Group 3: Technical Electives (3 courses – 9 credits)
Group 4: Synthesis Directed Project (1 course – 3 credits)
Note:
- The total number of credits, earned as either an undergraduate or in post baccalaureate status, that can be transferred to the M.S. Tech program is limited to 12 credit hours
- Undergraduate or graduate courses that have been used to satisfy the requirements for another degree can not be used to satisfy the M.S. Tech degree
- The choice of technical elective courses must be approved by the appropriate Department of Engineering Technology depending on area of specialty in advance via the student's Plan of Study
